It is difficult for me…

…It is difficult for me to express how much I can be affected by messages, photos or news about conflicts and wars, especially ones, where the greatest victims are children. The pictures of a city like Aleppo burning down, are not and will never be a ‚norm’ at least to me.

… at the end of 2017 I decided to take away the veil of ignorance called inaction, and joined the UNICEF campaign #CookforSYRIA by organising a charitable dinner, the income of which was fully transferred to UNICEF. The first dinner was organised in my beloved city of Wroclaw in Poland, together with the help of my wonderful friends from the former private television ECHO, the sponsors of Forum rest and the Alladyn Rest, and internet DTV24 TV,  without whom the event would’ve been impossible. The event itself took place in the immensely beautiful interiors of the National Forum of Music.

The second dinner was organised in my home in London. Both evenings were filled with Middle Eastern Syrian cuisine, and we managed to collect over £660 for the cause.
